The harsh winters of Mongolia, especially in rural areas, create significant challenges for education. The extreme cold temperatures, dropping as low as -40°C, and transportation issues make it difficult for students to access schools. Additionally, schools face heating problems and a lack of resources.

Mongolia is known for its harsh winter conditions experienced every year. In regions like Ulaanbaatar, temperatures can drop to -40°C. This cold poses significant risks to agriculture and livestock, as access to food and water sources becomes difficult. Additionally, families face great difficulties in accessing heating sources such as coal; snow and ice obstruct transportation.

We warmed hearts with kindness!

Thanks to this important aid, made possible by the support of our donors, thousands of children and families living in tents experienced the joy of warmth in temperatures as low as -40 degrees. Coal not only raised their living standards during the winter months but also greatly eased daily life by meeting many families’ heating needs.

Providing warmth increased the children’s ability to attend school, allowing them to continue their education. At the same time, by offering a healthy living environment, we helped families to relax psychologically as well.

Seeing the positive impact of our aid efforts is a great source of motivation for us. Thanks to our coal donations, many families were able to make survival in these harsh winter conditions much easier. We thank all of our volunteers who supported us.
