The Place that Brings The Faraway Close: Student Dormitories
Mongolia means traveling for hours on endless steppes, on horseback or on foot for kilometers, on days as cold as -40 degrees Celsius, just to get an education. Early in the morning, on horseback, dressed warmly, one sets off for school, reaches the school after traveling for kilometers, and after classes are over, one has to go all the way back. It means crossing the vast mountains and endless plains of Central Asia to reach the tent again.
On this path we set out to increase access to education, we do not want children to be preoccupied with such problems, we want their only problem to be their lessons. As Arif association, in order for children to have easier and safer access to education, the rented building of Murazanshil Male Student Dormitory with a capacity of 44 students was purchased with your contributions through Murazanshil Holboo association in Darhan, one of the three largest cities of Mongolia. Thus, we have met the dormitory needs of young people coming from different parts of Mongolia to study at university.
We would like to sincerely thank you, our esteemed donors, who have not left us alone and supported us on this journey.
